When it comes to extreme situations underwater, Miflex's Xtreme range of low-pressure BCD/inflator hoses gives you the components you can depend on. These are shielded with external nylon safety braiding, which resists potential snags and abrasions. What's more, the patented double braiding, fixed to the core, has UV ray resistance, prolonging the hose's lifespan.
This range has been developed by Miflex in collaboration with experienced diving enthusiasts, in a project to overcome the typical weak points of low-pressure diving hoses. The result is a design so robust that you can tie a knot in the hose and air can still flow through it!
The hose is part of the Deep Black range, made from quality brass with electroless nickel plating and hand-finished black ceramic coating to the exposed surfaces
As part of Miflex's Xtreme series, these hoses can meet a higher burst pressure, almost double that of many conventional diving hoses.
In the unlikely event of a physical breach, the nylon safety braiding works to reduce the amount of lost air, shrinking under pressure which reduces the rate of air loss and preserves valuable time.
These scuba diving hoses are made in Italy to a specialist high-quality engineered design specified by Miflex, who have supplied the diving industry since 2006.
