Cable and Connector Help

VR3 CONNECTIONS (1 CELL)

WARNING - VR3 CABLES REQUIRE A DISCRETE COMPONENT IN THE CONNECTOR TO WORK CORRECTLY. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MAKE YOUR OWN VR3 CABLE UNLESS YOU FIT THIS COMPONENT.

Below is a close up view of the pins inside the connector. Take note of the crescent shape in the connector which is to locate the connector in the correct orientation and helps you with pin identification

Below is the cable cores after the outer shielding is stripped off

there is 4 cores BUT ONLY 2 ARE USED FOR THE VR3

THIS IS FOR THE BELDON CABLE ONLY

1 WHITE that is connected to pin# 3 in the connector and is POSITIVE

2 BLUE that is connected to pin# 1 in the connector and is NEGATIVE

3 WHITE/blue this conductor is not used for the VR3

4 BLUE/white this conductor is not used for the VR3

It has 9 cores but we only use 4 cores for cable assemblys,
The cores we use are

Cell2: BROWN
